With over 20 years' experience, Averi Roberts focuses her practice on Information Governance, records and information management and document management.

Averi advises her clients on the implementation of enterprise-wide IG and RIM Programs, the procurement and deployment of electronic records management systems and document management solutions to meet industry standards and best practices, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. She works closely with client executive leadership and senior management teams, legal, IT, RIM and business units to support company strategic plans and program compliance.

Averi works closely with lawyers in DLA Piper's litigation e-discovery and cybersecurity practices – highly rated by Chambers and Legal 500 – to augment our offerings in Information Governance, Records & Information Management, document management and vendor management.

Averi began her career as a subject matter expert helping develop and manage the world's largest Medical Articles Records System designed to populate MEDLINE at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine.

In 2016, The Rita Holt Award Recipient, Greater Washington DC (GWDC) ARMA recognized Averi as the GWDC ARMA Chapter Leader of the Year.

In addition to her work at DLA Piper, Averi is the Vice President of Programs with the Greater Washington, DC (GWDC) Chapter of ARMA; Director at the Golden Gate ARMA Chapter; and a Member of ARMA, AIIM, ARMA Greater Washington DC, and ARMA Golden Gate.
